Tikki was not a being that should have been able to fall in love with a human.
But she had, this girl, plagued with the most horrible of curses in Tikki’s opinion, although it was not placed on her own heart, but on the heart of the one this blonde child loved most of all. It was alright for the Kwami to be second in the girl’s heart, despite her coming first. Small brushes and nuzzles when she was sad was only the precursor to small kisses that dotted her face as the god of creation found herself drowning in the stories this girl turned woman.
But the cure they looked for was never to be found. There was one way, Tikki was certain of it, but the wish would come at too great a cost.
Time passed for humans, but for Tikki? It was nothing at all. She had retained her humanoid form, searching the world for the girl she had lost and the other half of her being. If she could find Plagg, she could fix everything and pay the cost herself. Alice would never have to know that it was the prize her father had found for her that salvaged their relationship.
Places all seemed the same to her. Every town seemed filled with people who were not Alice. It was another one of those towns, another one of those days, and Tikki was hungry. She would have to halt her travels for the day for food. Stopping off at a small shop, she opened the door, her gaze towards the shelves of pastries, until the familiar sing-song voice beckoned to her.
Tikki was too moved, filled with emotion, her heart felt like it was going to burst as she rushed forward and pressed her lips, clutching onto the girl as they kissed. She tasted as sweet as she remembered. Nothing had seemed to change, and that fact did not matter to Tikki. No, what mattered was that she found Alice.
Until she was shoved away.
Large, wide, blue eyes glistened brightly at the girl before her. “Alice…” She murmured. Had she sensed wrong? No, she was certain this was Alice. She could feel her presence clearer than the brightest day that made her golden hair glisten. “Alice, it’s me. It’s Tikki!” The Kwami insisted, placing a hand to her chest. “I’ve finally found you, what else would I do but kiss you!”
Thoughts were swirling and spilled out from the ruby haired girl’s lips. “What happened to you? Why couldn’t you wait for me, Alice?” Her voice squeaked out, before shaking her head. “It doesn’t matter, I found you again.” The girl reached in, wanting to embrace the blonde once more.
